Questions partners ask before joining
Who can join the program?
Any business or self-employed professional with an audience that cares about analytics or tracking: agencies, freelancers, trainers, bloggers, newsletter authors. Joining is free, there is no minimum audience size, and the Partner Programme section of our Terms of Service applies.
How is the commission calculated?
You receive 50% of every payment a referred customer makes for their first 3 months, then 30% of every payment after that, for as long as they remain a customer. That includes renewals and upgrades. Refunded payments don't earn commission.
What do I earn for referring another partner?
When a partner joins the program through your link, you receive 30% of the commission they earn. Their own commission is not reduced.
How long does the referral last?
The referral cookie lasts 30 days from the click. When the visitor registers within that window, the referral is stored on their account for good: it never expires, no cookie overwrites it and only our team can correct it, so a payment made months later or from another device still counts for you.
What if my referral registers but pays much later?
The referral is saved on the account at registration and stays there, not only in the browser. When the customer pays weeks later, on another computer, or a colleague from their organization pays instead, the sale is still attributed to you.
How and when am I paid?
Commissions are tracked and paid out through Affonso, the platform that runs our program, including the 30% you earn from partners you referred. Affonso pays out monthly by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer once your balance reaches $50, and a commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment. Affonso issues the invoices for you (self-billing) unless you upload your own, and collects the payout and tax details it needs. Your partner dashboard shows every referral, its status and your payouts.
Can I use my own link for my own subscription?
Purchases from your own partner account are flagged, and we reject the commission when one is made mainly to earn it. An agency paying for its clients' containers from its own account is fine, and client accounts you set up can be assigned to you on request. Spam, bidding on our brand in search ads, impersonating SGTM.space and cookie stuffing are not allowed, and such commissions are cancelled. Tutorials, client projects, newsletters, courses: all fine.
